Students in the Vantaa-Kerava region can apply for an oral health check-up once during their studies, regardless of their place of residence.
Orthodontic treatment is included in the wellbeing services county's oral health care services if the malocclusion (bite defect) meets the national criteria for orthodontic treatment.
Schoolchildren are invited to oral health check-ups in grades 1, 3, 5 and 8. More frequent check-ups are also possible if necessary.
