Frequently asked questions - Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services

The wellbeing services are part of VAKEs web page. The wellbeing services bring together information about the promotion of wellbeing and health and bring together wellbeing services and events of organizations, municipalities, wellbeing services county and communities.
With the wellbeing services you can find information and services on themes promoting wellbeing and health (hyte) and self-care programs.
The wellbeing services consists of theme pages on vake.fi/hyte and search page of services and events vake.fi/hyvinvointitarjotin
Every wellbeing services county has developed and introduced digital wellbeing services, which bring together information about services and activities promoting wellbeing and health in the county. You can find all published wellbeing services on THLs web pages: Julkaistut palvelutarjottimet

The wellbeing services search uses artificial intelligence, so you can find the services and events that are best suited to you. You get the best results by using 2–4 words in your search query rather than a single word. For example, you can make the search with the sentence "help with coping with everyday life”. Artificial intelligence can interpret search sentences and improve the relevance of search results, allowing users to find the content they want more quickly.

It is possible to translate text content in the wellbeing services with the Google translator, also with the consideration to information coming from the Lähellä.fi service and Service Data Repository to over 200 languages. However, note that there can sometimes be mistakes in the automatic translation.

The Google translator is found in the language menu which is in the right corner on our web page. You can select the translation language with the Translate with Google button. After this you can select the language, to which you want to translate the content. Please note, that you should accept all cookies, to be able to use the translator. You can accept the cookies in the bottom right corner of the page.

The descriptions of the services and events are brought to the wellbeing services from two data sources of open information: Service Data Repository (PTV) Palvelutietovarannosta (PTV) and Lähellä.fi-palvelusta. The descriptions of services and events are found in the service and event search in the wellbeing services according to, how service producers have described them.

If you are a city employee, make sure that the service is described in TPD or PTV information resource.

If you are a representative of an organization or community, make sure that the service or event is described in the Lähellä.fi service or service data repository (PTV).

The wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava don´t moderate or answer for the content in the wellbeing services search function. The contents are brought from the Service Data Repository (PTV) and Lähellä.fi service as such than various organizers for different activities have described them in them Service Data Repository (PTV) and Lähellä.fi service. The organizers of the activities are responsible for the content and the accuracy of the information in the descriptions. All events and services, who´s service place is in Vantaa and Kerava, appear in the wellbeing services search. Furthermore, events and services appear from the Lähellä.fi service, for which Uusimaa has been chosen as the area.

If you have marked the whole Finland as an area in the Service Data Repository, the service is unfortunately not brought to the wellbeing services at the moment. We continue to develop the service during 2026, so that services marked for the whole Finland will be brought to the wellbeing services.
