We offer video appointments for oral health care advice and guidance, for check-ups for small children and health care guidance for families expecting their first child.

Oral health care also offers care remotely via video link.  Video link between a customer and a professional happens via Maisa portal. More specific instructions about attending video appointments can be found at Maisa Q&A section.

A remote consultation via video link makes it easier and quicker to access care, especially in situations where it is for one reason or another difficult to make it to a regular appointment. In addition, each video appointment between a professional and a customer can be given feedback. In some cases a video appointment can replace the traditional appointment.

How the service works

You can attend a video appointment either with a computer, tablet or smartphone that has camera and microphone. Log in to the service at Maisa.fi or with Maisa mobile app.

Video appointments are booked in Maisa, dental appointment service or they can be booked by a professional.

We offer video consultations for the following services:

  • periodic check-ups for 1-year-olds
  • Health care guidance for families expecting their first child
  • Oral health advice and guidance

Video appointment in e-service portal

  • Video appointment connection between a customer and a professional happens via e-service portal Maisa.
  • Video appointments are booked from dental appointment service or they are booked by a professional.
  • You will receive a notification to your phone about the video appointment 2 days before the appointment time, if you have allowed notifications to be sent to you via SMS.
  • Oral health care video appointment customer fee is the same as for normal appointments for all clients who are over the age of 18.
  • Remember to cancel your appointment in advance if needed. You can cancel an appointment easily via Maisa customer portal.

You can attend a video appointment with a web browser or with Maisa mobile app. You can download the mobile application from an app store (Google Play, App Store).

If you are using a browser, remember to enable pop-up windows. With Maisa browser version we recommend using either Google Chrome, Safari or Microsoft Edge.
