Free test of chlamydia and gonorrhoea at home

Do you suspect sexual disease? You can also take a sample for a reliable test of clamydia and gonorrhoea at home. To be able to use the service you need either bank code or mobile ID.

The service is intended for people living in Vantaa and Kerava, who are over 16 years. 

Do the test this way:

  1. Order the test package at vake.omatesti.fi. You log in to the service with your bank code or mobile ID. 
  2. When you get the test kit home, you take a urine sample or a swab sample according to the instructions and send the sample tube in a package to the laboratory shown on the package. The postal fee for the package has already been paid.  
  3. When the test result is ready, you will be notified by text message and you can check the result in vake.omatesti.fi -service.    

If your test result is positive, book a time to your health station. If you are not in contact with your health station when you get a positive result, we will take contact with you, so you get the treatment you need.  

A negative result don’t require any measures of from you.  

Most of the clamydia and gonorrhoea infections can only be found by testing. If you suspect a sexually transmitted disease, it is always good to do a test.  

Obs! You can´t test sexually transmitted diseases that occurs on the oral mucous in your mouth or in the anal opening with remote testing. If you suspect infection in your mouth or anal opening, take a test at your own health station. Remember to mention unprotected mouth or anal sex, so the test is taken in the right place.
