We are opening the Myyrmäki Family Centre in the Virtatalo building on Rajatorpantie in the autumn of 2026. The Family Centre brings together services for children, youth, and families in the area.
Virtatalo is located in Myyrmäki, close to excellent traffic connections.
The first VAKE family centres were opened last year in Koivukylä and Kerava. This autumn we are heading to Western Vantaa to celebrate the grand opening of the Myyrmäki Family Centre. “The Family Centre is a network hub of services that brings together services for children, young people, and families. We provide easily accessible and timely services in collaboration with other relevant actors, such as municipalities and non-profit organisations,” says Service Area Director Elina Eeva.
The Myyrmäki Family Centre will become your new meeting spot, maternity and child health clinic, children’s rehabilitation service centre, and parenting and family counselling service centre for infants, children, and young people. The professionals at the Family Centre will help you manage your circumstances and seek the help you need. "Collaboration among different professionals makes it possible to provide support to families at an early stage. Even a little help is often enough, as long as it’s received at the right time,” says Elina Eeva.
