Counselling and Financial Support Unit

Social counselling allows you to discuss your life situation with a social worker without an appointment. Social counselling is a low-threshold service that offers you guidance and advice at an early stage, which may prevent situations from escalating and the need for long-term social services. We will assess your situation and refer you to the right services as necessary.

You can seek social counselling from:

If you wish to apply for supplementary or preventive social assistance, you can do it directly from social services through the Maisa client portal.

You can submit the application for supplementary or preventive social assistance by mail: Counselling and Financial Support Unit, Box 7035, 01361 Vantaa.
