Outpatient detoxification is the primary method of treatment. If outpatient treatment is not enough, you may be referred to inpatient detoxification. A professional will assess the need, urgency and place of the detoxification. The assessment can be done at an emergency department or in the mental health and substance abuse services.
We advise you to visit a walk-in clinic of the mental health and substance abuse services or your local health centre to have your situation and service needs assessed.
