Mobility support services for the elderly
You can be assigned a support person for getting around outside your home based on a service needs assessment. With a support person, you can practice using public transport independently, strengthen your ability to get around independently and use a travel card.
Prerequisites
You are eligible for the mobility support services if you are unable to use public transport independently without great difficulty due to an illness, injury or similar reason that reduces your ability to function.
The service is intended for elderly people living in the wellbeing services county.
To receive the service, please contact senior counselling either by phone, email or through the Maisa client portal.
