The primary forms of treatment for concentration and attention deficits are support measures, such as guided self-care, which are provided by health centres. It is also important to pay attention to lifestyle habits that support well‑being in everyday life, such as adequate sleep, exercise, a regular daily routine, a varied diet and controlled use of electronic media.
If you are not getting enough help for your situation from the support measures, the need for further assessment will be evaluated with a professional.
Untreated or acute substance abuse or mental health problems may prevent access to follow-up tests for concentration problems.
