The past year has been challenging particularly in terms of economics and availability of staff and budget changes have been necessary.  The discharge is likely to be granted for both the auditors as well as for the audit commitee because of the conditional budget overrun of 17,8 miljon euro for this year.

The audit committee has in its report especially raised the concern regarding the economic sustainability for the wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava. According to the audit committee the economic sustainability is not on an sustainable footing and should according to the recommendations given by the committee be prepared for in advance so, if the the obligation to cover the deficit is being realised within the time frame required by law.

The audit committee has also expressed its concern regarding the availability of staff, especially in Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county the client dimension for 30 children/social worker is exceeded by some actors of the open care. Also the Regional state administrative agency has earlier intervened and in the wellbeing services area has time until august to correct the situation or a penalty payment of 700 000 euro can be realised.

The audit committee has as a positive factor among others raised, that, the start of the wellbeing services county has gone according to plan and safely.

The evaluation report is handled 10 june by the county council.

The evaluation report can be read on the web page.
