Activate Suomi.fi messages – accept digital messages in Maisa

News

VAKE has introduced Suomi.fi messages beside other digital services (Omaposti and Kivra). If you already use the digital post service, you will no longer in principle receive paper letters. It is important, that you put on push messages in your digital application, so you will receive a reminder of new messages.

Receive messages and letters digitally directly in Maisa

If you use the Maisa customer portal, you can do the following measures:

  • Turn off  "Post" in the settings, and you will only get the letters in Maisa. Do the selection in Notifications > General or Account settings in the mobile > Notifications > Communications selection.
  • It can also be good to activate push notifications in the application, when a notification will come for new messages, and you won´t miss them.

After this you will receive messages regarding care, services or invoicing in the Suomi.fi service.

If you already use the digital post service (Suomi.fi messages, Omaposti, Kivra), you will no longer in principle receive paper letters. This mean, that you will also receive invoices electronically to the digital post service in the future. Please check, what digital services you use and follow regularly, so you can see when new messages and invoices come.

If you cannot or do not want to receive digital messages, you will get messages related to care, services and invoicing by mail as paper letters in the future.

Those, who can´t use digital services, receive also in the future the post from authorities as paper.
