The budget of the wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava (VAKE) presents grants for almost one million euro to activities that support social and health care.
The application of grants for 2026 is ongoing 1.10.2025-31.10.2025. The application period ends on the last application day at 16.00. Registered non-profit organizations or other communities that operate in Vantaa and Kerava county can apply for a grant, whose job it is to improve health and wellbeing.

Committee for grassroot democracy and participation decided on its meeting 24.9.2025 to set focus areas for the grant application. The focus areas are specified in the regional welfare plan, and there have been identified a special need for activities supporting them in Vantaa and Kerava area.
At least 2/3 of the grants will be directed to activities supporting focus areas.
The assisted activities shall be directed to vulnerable groups. Especially there is a need for services directed to immigrants, foreign-language speakers and persons with disabilities in the area.
The wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Keravas grant info (Teams) is arranged on wednesday 1.10.2025 17–18. A recording from the event will be published on the wellbeing services Youtube channel.
