Health and social counselling services for drug users
Prerequisites
You can access the health and social counselling services for drug users without a referral or appointment during the opening hours of the service. You can access the service anonymously and while intoxicated. People living outside the wellbeing services county may also use our services.
Opening hours of the service points:
- Vinkkari Myyrmäki: on Wed at 12.00-15.30 and on Fri at 12.00-15.00; Jonsaksentie 4, 01600 Vantaa (health centre, access from the side of the bus station)
- Vinkkari Tikkurila: on Mon at 14.00-19.00 and on Thu at 11.00-16.00; Kielontie 11, 01300 Vantaa (basement of the health centre, access from Asematie)

Vinkkari offers you information on health risks and treatment options related to substance abuse, blood-borne diseases and sexually transmitted diseases. You can also exchange used injection equipment for new ones, get hepatitis A and B vaccines and get tested for hepatitis and HIV. The units of Vinkkari also provide advice on how to reduce or stop risk behaviour as well as information on social services.
