Taking photos and videos on the premises of the Wellbeing Services County of Vantaa and Kerava

Please follow the guidelines when visiting our premises. Each client, employee and visitor has the right to privacy.

If you wish to take photos or videos on the premises of the wellbeing services county, you must respect everyone’s privacy and comply with the law and good manners. Taking photos or videos must not interfere with the provision of services or care.

Public spaces 

  • You can take photos and videos outdoors and in the public areas of the wellbeing services county. These include, for example, lobbies and cafés. 
  • You do not need special permission to take photos and videos in public spaces, but please make sure that you do not disturb others or interfere with the operations of the site. 

Semi-public spaces 

Private spaces 

  • Taking photos and videos in private spaces always requires permission from the unit in question. Private spaces in the wellbeing services county include, for example, consulting rooms, wards, care homes and residential care homes. 
  • If you wish to take photos or videos of your own treatment or service situation, please ask the personnel involved in the treatment or service for permission. Taking photos or videos must not interfere with treatment or endanger anyone’s safety. 
  • Please remember that if you get permission to take photos and videos, this does not give you the right to take photos or videos of other clients or their loved ones.

Taking photos of people 

  • If you want to photograph people on the premises of the wellbeing services county, you must ask for permission from the person in question. Tell the person where and how you intend to use the photo. 

  • Remember that you need the consent of a parent or guardian to photograph minors. 

  • Please do not take or publish photos that may violate the privacy of the person being photographed. 

Publishing photos 

Publishing photos is a separate matter from taking photos. If you have taken photos in non-public places, you must secure permission both to take the photo and to publish it. 
 

The persons in the photos have the right to restrict the use of the photos in accordance with the right to privacy.
