The Kaikukortti will be piloted in Vantaa and Kerava during 2025, which enables free tickets to different culture and sports events. The aim with the Kaukikortti is to improve the possibilities for those with economic constraint to participate in cultural life and do sports.
Kaikukortti is a personal card, with which you can obtain free tickets for instance to museums, theatre, conserts and sport facilities. The cardholder can use the cardboard Kaikukortti or mobile version of the Kaikukortti.
Kaikukortti which equalizes access to culture is used in around hundred municipalities in Finland. In addition to Vantaa and Kerava is for instance Central Uusimaa Wellbeing services county participating in the Kaikukortti activities.
The card is intended for clients over 16 years in social and welfare or services that promote healthcare and wellbeing, who are in economic constraint and otherwise cant get tickets or participate in courses.
If it is difficult to go alone to activities, the Kaikukortti cardholders can use the free art and culture companions, who would accompany to the venue.
With the Kaikukortti you can get free tickets also for own children or grandchildren under 18 years. Also, the assistant for a disabled client or the interpreter can get in the venue free of charge.
Some actors in social and welfare or services that promote healthcare and wellbeing also use the Kaikukortti for communities, with which the employee or voluntary worker can organize visits for smalls groups for their clients.
The Kaikukortti is issued 2025 by agreed social and health care actors in Vantaa and Kerava as well as actors that promote welfare and health. You can get the Kaikukortti from actors of social and health services and named actors of communities, organisations and congegrations. Units issuing the Kaikukortti can be found on the welfare areas web page for the Kaikukortti.
Only clients of units that participate in the pilot project can get the Kaikukortti.
Free tickets can be acquired with the Kaikukortti to many cultural and sports services in Vantaa and Kerava cities as well as for instance Finnish Science center Heureka and Finnish Aviation museum. Furthermore the cardholder can use the card in all Kaikukortti venues in different parts in Finland.

The Kaikukorrti will be tested in Vantaa and Kerava area during 2025. The pilot project will be performed together with Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county as well as organisations and congegrations. A Kaikukortti working group that coordinate the activities has been established in the area. Distribution of the Kaikukortti i started in january 2025.
The pilot project is financed by the VAKEhyva -Hyvät palvelut project that belongs to the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland, which is financed by the European Union. The aim with the project is to bring activities that advance welfare and health to be more easily found and strengthen collaboration with different actors.
The Kaikukortti is nationally coodinated by Kaikukeskus, which is a part of the Culture for All service. Kaikukeskus is responsible for the support and development services of the Kaikukortti. Kaikukeskus collects information on what helps to assess the effects of the Kaikukortti on the user’s welfare and health. With the pilot project the information can be used by actors in Vantaa and Kerava area.
