Peijas Hospital

The Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county's hospital services include two Geriatric Assessment and Acute Care Wards in the Peijas Hospital area. Acute Geriatric Ward 1 is located on the first floor of the building, while Acute Geriatric Ward 2 is on the third floor.

The wards at Peijas Hospital are part of the teaching hospital, so both medical students and social and health care students are involved in patient care. Examinations and procedures carried out by students are supervised by a…qualified doctor or nurse. As a patient, you have the right to decline from being a teaching patient. Refusal will not affect your treatment in any way.
