Culture belongs to everybody. However, not everyone can afford tickets for example to the museum, theatre or a concert. Kaikukortti has been developed as a solution to this. Kaikukortti is issued for the use of clients and organisations in Vantaa and Kerava area during 2025.
The aim with the Kaukikortti is to improve the possibilities for those young, adults, elderly and families in a tight financial situation to participate in cultural life and to do art. Kaikukortti is used in many places in Finland and you can use the Kaikukortti in all Kaikukortti localities in different parts of Finland.

The Kaikukorrti will be tested in Vantaa and Kerava area during 2025. With the Kaikukortti you can get free tickets for instance to museums, theaters, conserts, dance performances, sport services and events. Furthermore, you can also get course place at institutes in the area with the Kaikukortti. Kaikukortti is personal and free of charge. With the card you can get free tickets and course places besides in Vantaa and Kerava area also in other Kaikukortti areas. Read more (in Finnish).
You can get the Kaikukortti, if
Only your name will be written on your personal Kaikukortti. Your name, birthday, personal identity code, address and telephone number won´t be collected from you for the Kaikukortti register. When you get the Kaikukortti, you will be asked some background information, for instance your mother tongue. Giving background information is voluntary.
Culture and sports actors wont record your name, address or telephone number, when you purchase a ticket with the Kaikukortti. Adult education centres are an exemption: if you register for a course at the centre, you have to provide your personal information when you enroll. Read more about the privacy protection.
Vantaa and Kerava areas Kaikukortti is issued by designated actors in social and welfare, promoting welfare and health as well as third sector.
Kaikukortti in Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county is issued by emplyees of following services and units – you can ask for a Kaikukortti from your own employee if you are a customer in any of the units or activities listed below:
Kaikukortti is used in many places in Finland and you can use the Kaikukortti in all Kaikukortti localities in different parts of Finland. All venues can be found on Kaikukorttis pages.
The Kaikukortti can be used in venues listed below in Vantaa and Kerava.
The Kaikukortti will also be introduced in some other services of the cities and areas of Vantaa and Kerava during spring and autumn 2025. You will find information on this page when the locations are available.
Get a ticket with the Kaikukortti from the Kaikukortti venues own ticket sales canals. When you get a ticket, be prepared to show your Kaikukortti and to tell its number. Please note, that there can be a limited amount of Kaikukortti tickets and course places.
You can´t get tickets from the online web shop with the Kaikukortti. If you get a ticket from a commersial ticket office, you have to pay a service fee, even if the ticket is free of charge. It is also possible to get tickets for many Kaikukortti venues directly from the venues without paying a service fee.
If you want to participate in an adult education centre course, register to the course as usual in advance and also report the number for your Kaikukortti to the adult education centre office.
Take your Kaikukortti with you, when you go to the event or course. The staff can ask you to show your Kaikukortti. Furthermore, the staff can ask you to prove your identity.
If you have children or grandchildren under 18 years, you can also get free tickets with the Kaikukortti for them, when you go together to the same event. Children and grand children can´t though participate with you on the same adult education centre course.
The client´s possible assistant or interpreter always gets in free of charge to the Kaikukortti venues. The assistant can for instance be an assistant to a disabled person, a guide that assists a visually impaired person or an assistant helping a disabled person. The interpreter can for instance be a sign language interpreter, writing interpreter or speech interpreter. The possessor of a Kaikukortti shall obtain an own seat ticket for his/her assistant or interpreter.
If you are interested in participating together with a small group or an employee, you ask if the employee issuing the Kaikukortti would go with you to a cultural event!
Actors issuing the Kaikukortti has Kaikukortti for communities. The employee, volunteer or another represent for the organisation can get a free ticket with the Kaikukortti for communities for himself/herself and for the client under 16 years, when he/she arranges a small group visit for one or more clients. Clients over 16 years have to have their own Kaikukortti on the small group visits. Small group is for example 2–5 persons. You can´t participate i adult education centre courses with the Kaikukortti for communities.
Do you need company or support for the culture visit? You can ask a voluntary friend to go with you.
The art and culture companion service in Kerava is coordinated by Setlementti Louhela ry. The art and culture companions are trained volunteers, who functions as companions and escorts in local culture events. Together with an art and culture companion you can for instance go to art exhibitions, museums, theater, library, conserts or movies.

In Vantaa the art and culture companion helps, if it is difficult for you to go alone to events. The art and culture companions go together with you to different culture events, among other museums, art exhibitions, opera, musical performances, the nature near you or sport events. The art and culture companion service is intended for everyone living in Vantaa and who interested in culture. The art and culture companion service is free of charge. The ticket prices are location and event specific.

The Kaikukortti is being tested in collaboration with Vantaa and Kerava cities, Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county and organisations and congregations initially during 2025. A Kaikukortti working group that coordinate the activities has been established in the area. The pilot project is financed by the VAKEhyva -Hyvät palvelut project that belongs to the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland, which is financed by the European Union. The aim with the project is to bring activities that advance welfare and health to be more easily found and strengthen collaboration with different actors.
The Kaikukortti is nationally coordinated by Kaikukeskus, which is a part of the Culture for All service. Kaikukeskus is responsible for the support and development services of the Kaikukortti. Kaikukeskus collects information, what helps to assess the effect of Kaikukortti on the wellbeing and health on users. With the pilot project the information can be used by the actors in the area.
