You get your vaccine during your routine check-up at the maternity clinic if you are on pregnancy weeks 16–32. If you are over pregnancy week 32, you can get your vaccination at our open maternity clinics.

Whooping cough is dangerous for children under one year. We give booster vaccine for whooping cough to all pregnant individuals during the public health nurses´ routine check-ups at the maternity clinics if you are on pregnancy weeks 16–32. Those over pregnancy week 32 can get their vaccination at our open maternity clinics.
If you already have received the DTaP booster vaccine during pregnancy, you don´t need any booster vaccination or it is not given to you.
You don´t need to prepare yourself in any way for the vaccination, it is given during the public health nurse´s routine check-ups at the maternity clinics. You don´t need to book an appointment to the open maternity clinics, you can come without an appointment from Monday to Thursday 9–11.
