The wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava provides social and health services to around 280,000 residents. In addition to Vantaa and Kerava, rescue services are provided to the Central Uusimaa wellbeing services county, raising the total to around 470,000 residents. The wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava employs about 5,900 experts and professionals.

In senior services, we focus on improving and supporting the quality of the life of senior citizens. Our sector is divided into two service areas: nursing home services and services supporting the elderly living at home. In both service areas, we support the well-being of our elderly clients in various ways.
Nursing home services:
We offer a safe environment where those who stay with us get to enjoy 24-hour service housing or short-term service housing. In addition, we offer rehabilitation and assessment service for those who need it. In nursing home services, we always make sure that every resident receives individual attention and care.
Services supporting the elderly living at home:
Services supporting the elderly living at home supports the independent life of the client and guarantees that they get to enjoy a high quality of life in their own home for as long as possible. We offer:
Our Client Assistance Unit Senior counselling is part of the services supporting the elderly living at home, and it is responsible for the counselling and guidance of our elderly clients as well as the assessment and decisions regarding the needs for services. The unit also supports families in informal care and families of people with memory disorders. In addition, our gerontologic social work offers additional help for seniors who need special support.

We operate right by the capital city in the most concentrated part of Finland, near major transport routes and an international airport. We employ more than 500 safety professionals. Every day, our work makes the everyday life safer for half a million residents and tens of thousands of travellers.
We serve both Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county and Central Uusimaa Wellbeing services county. Our area of operations includes the municipalities of Hyvinkää, Järvenpää, Kerava, Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi, Pornainen, Tuusula, and Vantaa – sufficient variation from the countryside to the city.
