The emergency housing service is intended for those who have become homeless and for whom it has not been possible to offer housing or rented accommodation in any other way because they have significant barriers to housing.
The service covers homeless people residing in the wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava. Your municipality of residence will be checked against the Population Information System once you access the service. We also offer emergency accommodation to residents of other municipalities, directing them to return to their place of residence or to contact their social worker immediately on the next working day after the emergency accommodation.
The accommodation facilities are cleaned daily between 9.00 and 11.00, during which you will need to leave the house or go to the in-house day centre. You do not need to be sober to access the service, but you must be able to behave appropriately. However, you may not use substances or behave in a threatening and/or violent way in the Koisoranta Service Centre.
The facilities are accessible, but you must be able to move independently.
You can access the emergency housing service around the clock without a referral.
Koisoranta Service Centre is intended for homeless people. It provides an emergency housing service that accepts homeless people around the clock. The Arvi community and Koisokoti homes carry out comprehensive assessment and plan future housing options in cooperation with social services.
