Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county (VAKE) has terminated the contract with Pro Hoiva Oy, who provides home care services for the wellbeing services county because of qualitative problems that occurred in the services.
Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county terminated the service provider contract wih Pro Hoiva Oy on monday 24.2.2025. Pro Hoiva Oy has provided VAKE with home care services as an outsourced service. The service provider have approx. 70 clients in VAKEs area.
The decision to terminate the contract is based on quality problems that occurred in Pro Hoiva Oy:s activities. VAKE has followed the service providers activities and also actively offered guidance and support to improve the situation.
"Despite the guidance and the made development measures the situation didn´t improved enough, so the contract had to be terminated", tells director of organisational support Nina Linja.
VAKe don´t know, if the challenges have endangered the client and patient security.
VAKE cooperates closely with Pro Hoiva, so that the clients who receive the service from the service provider get a new service provider as quickly and smoothly as possible. The goal is to secure, that the client care continues without interruptions.
"We will be in contact with the clients, who are affected by the changes and the change of service provider", tells task area manager Satu Kiuru.
