Handicraft Workshop Kapussi offers work activities with a focus on handicrafts for 16-64-year-old people with disabilities. The activities aim to support, maintain and promote the client's ability to work and function as well as their life management skills, employment and inclusion in society, taking into account their needs, wishes and capabilities. Our activities promote inclusion and employment with a coaching and rehabilitative approach.
At Kapussi, we manufacture weaving, sewing, felting,…fabric printing and various other seasonal products for our own shop. We also make products on order.
We work together with other work and day activity centres and employment support services and help those interested in group or individual job coaching to apply for the service.
Handicraft Workshop Kapussi belongs to the service area 1 of the work and day activities of the wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava. The unit employs three staff members (counsellors/activity instructors) and a supervisor who we share with three other units. We have around 27 clients.
