The Rehabilitation and Assessment Unit is located in Korso, Vantaa. It provides rehabilitative short-term care that allows our clients to continue living at home. During the rehabilitation period, the client's functional ability is assessed. The provided activities allow informal carers/relatives to take time off from daily care work.
In this context, short-term care means planned care that supports living at home. It can be organised as periodic or interval care or as a single care period, e.g…. to support discharge from hospital or service needs assessment.
The unit also offers 24-hour housing services for elderly people. The aim is to allow our clients to live an active life and participate in rehabilitative care in an accessible, safe and home-like environment. The clients can be involved in the daily life of the community. 24-hour housing services help us support and promote the wellbeing, safety and good quality of life of our clients.
